Australia Implements New Import Policy for Vape: What You Need to Know

Australia's import policy bans the import of all disposable e-cigarettes from January 1, 2024, and only reusable e-cigarettes can be imported;
From March 1, 2024, e-cigarettes can only be imported as medical products. Regardless of the nicotine content, e-cigarettes or accessories will have to be supplied in pharmacies;
From March 1, 2024, the importation of e-cigarettes by individuals will be prohibited, except for travelers who may only carry small quantities of e-cigarettes for therapeutic use;
From 1 March 2024, importers will be required to hold an import license and a goods-related permit issued by the Office of Drug Control.
